Last week a pair of dolphins were spotted playing offshore from Milford on Sea beach.
Many people were able to watch the dolphins from Milford on Sea beach which can only have brightened anyone's day.
The photo below perfectly captures them frolicking close to The Needles. Sadly, we don't know who captured this great image, but if someone knows, please tell us and we will be more than happy to give them a credit.

We have been asked if there is anywhere in Milford on Sea that does a weekly lunch for pensioners as a social gathering.
There is of course the First Friday Lunch at the Community Centre which is now happening again on the first Friday of each month. Click here.Ray's Italian does 'Vulnerable Wednesdays' where diners are asked to wear masks when dining. Click here.
Apart from that, we are not aware of any pub or restaurant which invites pensioners on a specific day to get together, meet new people and enjoy a lunch.
If anyone knows of anything else that takes place, please let us know and we will pass the information on.

On a local walk Derek Batterbee, a volunteer for Milford Conservation Volunteers, captured this enchanting image of a deer in full flight. The photo was taken at the end of Keyhaven Road looking into the farmers field with Hurst Spit in the mid-background.
Another great example of the natural beauty of Milford on Sea.
