The Wash House Micro Ale Bar in Milford on Sea high street has been informed that they have made it into The Good Beer Guide 2021, which is well deserved recognition for the real ales they sell to happy customers.
Ironically, as we all move into another Lockdown, they have also presented with a Special Award from CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale) for serving the community with real ale and cider throughout the first Lockdown!
To follow what The Wash House is doing over the next few weeks, please visit their Facebook Page by clicking here.
As we all approach the next Lockdown until December it is likely you may want some takeaway food, which of course is not just a pleasure, but it also helps to support our village eateries.
To see what you can treat yourself to; please click here.
Note: It may be worth calling before visiting to check what they are doing this Lockdown.
Eatery Owners: If your offering has changed from what is listed, please let me know at david@milfordonsea.org
You’ll be glad to hear that during this four-week lockdown Ray’s Italian Kitchen will be here for you with its takeaway service.
There were 8 players, 2 x bubbles of 4 and included an 11 year old Hungarian girl starlet and a 73 year old. Simon played the entire 24 hours in his wheelchair.
Simon said; "We had loads of fun along the way including everybody playing in wheelchairs, using frying pans, hard bats and playing ping pong to name but a few. It was very challenging both physically and mentally for us all but we were helped by a delivery of Pizzas on Saturday night and a McDonalds breakfast on Sunday morning. Special mention to Tesco New Milton who supplied bottled water, fruit, protein bars and jelly babies for all players."
