Pottery Courses for Mother's Day (or any other time!)
Mother’s Day is just around the corner, and if you are still wondering what to get your mum this year, why not treat her to a Pottery Day at Milford on Sea's Vinegar Hill Pottery.
All courses are led by our very own master potter, Dave Rogers, and he loves to pass on his skills to others.

Sammy's Mother's Day Roast Dinner - & Easter
Sammy's Café will once again be serving their tasty, monthly Sunday Roast Lunch on Mother's Day, Sunday 30th March 2025.
There will also be an Easter Special Sunday Dinner at lunchtime on Easter Sunday 20th April 2025. Bookings now being taken.
Sunday Roast Dinner
Each Last Sunday in the Month up until Easter Sunday, traditional and great value roast dinners will be served.

The meal includes one type of meat from a selection, roast potatoes, three veg, gravy and a homemade Yorkshire pudding.
Regular Roast Dinner: £17pp - or go big for £20 which includes all the above plus pig in blanket and sage and onion stuffing.
Extras: Pig in blanket £2.50, Sage an onion stuffing £2, Cauliflower cheese £2.50, and Yorkshire pudding £1.50
Vegan and gluten free roast dinner options available.
Sittings: 12noon, 1:30pm and 3pm and the table is available for 1.5 hours.

Sammy's Loyalty Card
For every hot drink you buy, you can collect a stamp on the the card. When you collect 10 stamps you will receive a free hot drink and your choice of a slice of cake.

About Sammy's Café
Sammy's café owner, Sammy Morris opened Sammy's on 1st September 2024. Prior to this, she has many years of catering experience. Which included running her own successful cake business for seven years before adding to her services and attending various local events and functions with the Sammy's Cakes & Grill Food Van.
Sammy's Café offer breakfasts from 8am (9am on Saturday & Sunday), and is open every day except Wednesday.
The cafe is also dog friendly.
In her spare time Sammy is a runner and has completed several marathons and The Great South Run.
Sammy has received excellent reviews for her cooking, many of which can been seen on her Facebook page, which is worth following.

Free Melleford Bubbly for Mum on Mother's Day
Melleford Restaurant at the foot of Milford on Sea village green, are offering a Free Glass of Bubbly for mum on Mother's Day, Sunday 30th March 2025.
Melleford Restaurant is also now open for Sunday Roast Dinner every Sunday, served between 12 and 5pm.
In addition to classic roasts, the menu also features the popular Melleford Fish Pie as part of their Sunday menu. The pie contains tender cod, salmon, haddock, and prawns in a creamy sauce, topped with buttery mashed potatoes and paired with seasonal vegetables.

Nauti Treats: Cupcakes for Mother's Day
Bonnie of Nauti Treats make fabulous cupcakes which are hard to resist, and her Mother's Day's Cupcakes are available to order in a variety of flavours now.
You can choose between boxes of 2, 4, 6 or more. Prices are from £7 for a box of 2, Boxes of 6 for £18. Local delivery is also available.
The piped bouquets are proving popular, and double chocolate cakes are also made to order.
Bonnie is happy to create bespoke cupcakes or cakes to customer requests, so just drop her an email.

Bonnie moved to Milford on Sea with her family in 2020, and prior to this had a career in brand strategy with BBC Worldwide and Macmillan Cancer Support in London.
Bonnie specialises in custom cupcake orders, from Winnie the Pooh-themed christening cakes to gluten-free and dairy-free dark chocolate birthday cakes. Each cupcake is crafted not only to suit dietary needs but to enhance the celebration, adding a personal touch that elevates the entire experience.
Whether catering for large parties or intimate gatherings, she takes pride in helping her clients create the special moments they’re after. She has even recreated wedding cupcakes for a special vow renewal.
Nauti Treats have a 5-star hygiene rating, and Bonnie is also able to accommodate various allergens, ensuring that everyone can enjoy a Nauti Treat without worry.
Bonnie's experience with allergen-friendly baking began at home, as her daughter couldn't have dairy until she was two, and her mother-in-law follows a gluten-free diet. Baking with allergens in mind has since become second nature.

Mum Goes Free on Mother's Day Pedal & Puzzle E-Bike Escape Game
Looking for a different type of Mother's Day present this year? - Well, Mum can go free on the Mother's Day Pedal & Puzzle E-Bike Escape Game.
Treat mum this Mother’s Day and explore, puzzle and adventure your way together, around the Milford on Sea glorious coastline and countryside.
This fun filled day lasts up to 6 hours so you can take your time and pedal and puzzle at your own pace. There will be plenty of time throughout the day to spot some wildlife, watch the waves break, enjoy lunch, chill out, and sneak a cheeky ice cream on the beach.
The electric bikes are a little bit special; retro styled with comfy seats, chunky fat tyres and five levels of cheeky pedal assist at your fingertips. There is also a nippy little 250w battery with day-long range which puts everyone on an equal footing so that nobody gets left behind.
