The next Wellbeing Wednesday will take place on Wednesday 30th April 2025 from lpm to 2pm in The Bridge, Sea Road, Milford On Sea.
The event is free, and open to everyone in the community.
This month's topic is: The Role of the Pharmacy Team in Your GP Practice: What You Need to Know
Peter Williams (Clinical Pharmacist) and Lauren Nickel (Pharmacy Technician) will introduce patients to the pharmacy team within their GP practice and explain how they contribute to high-quality, accessible healthcare. It will cover the different roles within the team, including Clinical Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians, and highlight the services they provide, such as medication reviews, long-term condition management, and prescription support.
Patients will learn how the pharmacy team works alongside GPs, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective medication use.
