Service of Remembrance and Thanksgiving
Sunday 3rd November 2024 at 3pm in All Saints’ Church, Milford on Sea.
There has been a long tradition of remembering, on All Souls Day, those who have died and those who are bereaved.
You are invited to bring a single stem flower, of your own choosing, in remembrance of your loved one.
The service will be followed by some light refreshments in All Saints' Church Hall.

The Royal British Legion Remembrance on the Green
Monday 11th November 2024 on Milford on Sea Village Green
- 10.40am: Arrival
- 11am: 2 Minutes Silence
Armistice Day has been observed every year since 1919 with a two-minute silence. The silence coincides with the time in 1918 at which the First World War came to an end.
Everyone is invited to pay their respects to people who served in the past and serve today. Lest we forget.
*After the service, the wreaths are taken to the Milford on Sea War Memorial Hospital where a further service is held at the Village War Memorial Plaque.

The Royal British Legion's Poppy Appeal
The Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal is to remember those who lost their lives on active service in all conflicts; from the beginning of the First World War right up to the present day. The poppy is for remembrance to all those who have served and their families.
Milford on Sea is very active in collecting for the Poppy Appeal and if you can you spare a few hours to volunteer as a Poppy Appeal Collector in the future please contact Carole to find out more.
