Are you retired and looking to explore new interests or meet new people?, then the very active Milford on Sea U3A may be just the thing for you.
Our village U3A are a lively and sociable group of over 400 local people, and they offer an amazing range of activities for people who are no longer in full time employment.
There are many groups you can join, as you can see from the image below.
The Milford on Sea U3A meet on the first Tuesday of every month in The Bridge (Formerly the Community Centre). Each meeting features an interesting and entertaining speaker from a variety of subjects.
The next U3A Meeting is on Tuesday 6th June at 2pm where the speaker will be Julian Le Good presenting; 'A Portrait of the Architect as a Young Man'. Julian is a retired architect. He compares the early years of his career when the Royal Institute of British Architects stipulated five days to reply to a letter - with the five seconds it may take via mobile today. He shares more of his experiences in his talk. A talk made up of the absurd, the ridiculous, the hilarious and the downright ridiculous encounters along the way.
The full programme of upcoming meeting speakers can be found on their website.
