Pie & Pud and Village Sunday Lunches

If you love a freshly baked pie, then The Lazy Lion in Milford on Sea high street is the place to visit as they regularly have pies on their daily menu, as well as a Pie & Pudding Night every Wednesday.

If you have not eaten there before, we can confirm that it is certainly worth a try for great pub food in a comfortable environment, plus friendly service to enhance the experience.

You dine any day for a great breakfast, at lunchtime, or in the evening with a comprehensive menu choice including British classics and dishes with a twist.

There is also a children's menu, plus of course the ever popular Sunday Roast Lunch from 12noon to 7pm every week! - Remember to book though, the restaurant is very popular. (Click here for menu)

The Smugglers Inn serve meals from 12noon to 9pm. On Sundays the menu includes roast dinners with - all with trimmings including topside of beef, roast pork loin, roast turkey, mixed roast homemade nut roast, plus other pub favourite dishes from just £12.95. (Click for details)

The Gun Inn in Keyhaven has reopened after a number of refurbishments to the kitchen, there is also a new menu of meals and small plates, with roast dinners on Sundays. There has also been an extension to the garden bar and a revamp of the garden itself. (Click here for details)


About The Lazy Lion

A popular village pub serving quality food for breakfast, lunch, and evening meals and situated in an historic Grade II Listed former eighteenth century inn with stables.

The pub is dog friendly, and they run regular events such as Quiz Nights & Dinner Evenings. They also hold a Pie & Pudding Night every Wednesday with a changing menu of tasty homemade pies.

Garden: The pub has a large garden with outside seating, a gazebo, and children's play area.

Private Dining Area: should you wish to enjoy a meal with family or friends (Up to 20 people) a private dining area is available.

B&B Rooms: If you have guests who wish to stay over, there are four comfortable double Bed & Breakfast Rooms. Each have modern facilities such as free Wi-Fi, en-suite bathrooms, tea and coffee facilities, and of course optional lunch and evening dining on hand.

The Lazy Lion was formerly known as The Red Lion until being renamed after a major refurbishment in July 2019 by current landlord Iain Robertson.
