No doubt, we are all horrified by the recent Earthquake Disaster in Turkey, and the humanitarian disaster that is still unfolding.
Keen to help, Kayleigh & Sinan at Milford Cards & Gifts in the high street have set their shop up as a collection point for practical donations which will go to a Turkish charity coordinating supplies for the region.
They are looking for the following essential items in new or in good condition:
- Sleeping bags
- Ready to eat food (Tins)
- Baby formula
- Basic first aid kits
- Gloves / Hat / Scarves
- Blankets / Sleeping bags
- Nappies / Baby wipes
- Thermal clothing / Coats
- Torches / Power banks
- Electric heaters
- Tents
Donation will then be collected by: Luton Turkish Community Association (Charity number:1136182) and then sent on to Turkey.
