Verveine Restaurant's soft fruit patch at the rear of the building has exploded into life. The untidy nature has been kept this way by chef/patron David Wykes to encourage pollinators to enhance the delicious fruit.
The patch includes redcurrants, blackcurrants, whitecurrants, raspberries, loganberries and pink gooseberries. All are destined for plates in the restaurant this spring and summer - with no carbon footprint!
