About Milford on Sea Bowls Club
The bowls club was founded in 1933 and has been a prominent feature of the village. Members enjoy playing bowls and participating in numerous social events.
Located on Milford on Sea's seafront, the green boasts one of the finest vistas on the South Coast, with stunning views of Christchurch Bay, the Isle of Wight, and the Needles.
The club's location is such a draw that it attracts members from the New Milton, Barton, and Lymington areas, as well as Milford on Sea and Everton.
The Club’s Green has 6 rinks, which are amongst the finest in the area.
The outdoor playing season runs from early April until late September. The mixed membership has Club roll-ups on Wednesday and Friday afternoons.
The club competes in the New Forest, Bournemouth, and District Ladies’ and Men’s Leagues and is a member of the Hampshire County Bowling Association. It also hosts “friendly” matches with clubs from further afield. In addition, it has club matches, providing both a social and friendly competitive atmosphere for its members.
