All Saints’ Church has been at the heart of our community for over 900 years, and it now needs the community’s help.
Pledges are being sought to enable vital repairs to be done. People are asked to make their pledges by 31 July 2025 and will be called in when sufficient funds have been raised to allow the work to proceed. Further information is available on the Church Website: www.allsaintsmilford.org.uk

However, the render on the tower in the 1920s is now cracking and letting water in, damaging the stonework; two stained glass windows also need to be removed and repaired. Urgent repairs are required to preserve the tower before the damage becomes unmanageable. £300,000 needs to be raised through grants and fundraising.
An appeal to raise the necessary funds is now being launched.
Donation pledges can be made using this Bell Tower Pledge Form.
It will be the focus of an Open Day on Monday 26th May 2025, when the Church joins the Parish Council for a shared event celebrating the Parish Meadow and fundraising for the Church Tower. On the day, activities will be held in All Saints’ Church and the churchyard. In particular, there will be an opportunity to ring a church bell. Please sign up via the All Saints website at www.allsaintsmilford.org.uk.
Further fundraising events will be held in the coming months, so look for those on the Church website and the Milford on Sea Weekly News Bulletin.
The Church is not just a place of worship. Still, the building is a community space asset, where we gather to celebrate baptisms, marriages, thanksgivings, school events and celebrations, Remembrance Day services and host charity fundraising concerts and other events.
Previous generations in the village have ensured the church has been maintained, and the responsibility has now passed to it. It is incumbent on the current generation to make the tower safe, preserve the building, and keep the bells ringing so that the church remains at the heart of the community for future generations.
