Milford on Sea's popular chamber choir, Choralia Milford have a loyal local following, and features singers from the village.
The choir have announced that their next performance will be their Summer Concert ‘Songs from the Shows’ at 4pm on Sunday 14th July 2024.
This will be held in Lymington Baptist Church, 10 New Street, Lymington SO41 9BJ. (opposite St Barbe Museum).
Although we normally only feature events in the village, we make an expectation here due to the choirs' close association with Milford on Sea.
This impressive 40-strong chamber choir, will be singing a programme which includes songs from West Side Story, Les Misérables, and Phantom of the Opera.
The choir will be conducted by their Musical Director Phil Daish-Handy.
The concert will be in support of Oxfam.

About Choralia Milford
Choralia Milford is a friendly chamber choir that works hard to create high quality performances of eclectic repertoire. The choir is based in Milford on Sea and was formed as the UK came out of Covid Lockdown in 2021.
Comprising of around 40 members, this unique choir has developed a broad range of classical and contemporary repertoire, including world premieres of local composers’ music.
Rehearsals take place on Tuesday evenings in All Saints' Church, Milford on Sea. New singers always welcome.
Musical Director
Philip Daish Handy has entertained audiences across the world. Philip came to prominence after winning the prestigious Music at Beaulieu Competition, leading to numerous performances and several recordings.
Philip founded and is Artistic Director of the Nova Foresta Classical players. With his orchestra, Philip has performed numerous concertos, and has collaborated with numerous choirs and choral societies to form choral extravaganzas, ‘come and sing’ events, candlelight concerts and Christmas concerts throughout the UK. He is also Festival Director of the Lymington Choral Society and Voices of the Forest.
