Out of a Hat impromptu play reading run by Milford Drama Club, is a fun evening where a play is read, picking the parts out of a hat to decide who reads which part!
Out of a Hat takes place every other month on the 3rd Wednesday, with £5 entry on the door.
The next Out of a Hat is on Wednesday 20th September. Feel free to go along.
Robert Tressell’s The Ragged Trousered Philanthropists, about a group of painters and decorators and their struggle for survival in a complacent and stagnating Edwardian England, has become a classic of working-class literature since its first publication in 1914.
This brilliant stage version by Stephen Lowe, the author of Touched, was first seen in 1978, when Joint Stock Theatre Company toured the country playing to packed houses.
Entrance is £5 per person and includes snacks. Pay on the Door
