New Pavilion & Christmas at South Lawn Hotel

We are delighted to give an update on more success and developments at South Lawn Hotel.

Since taking over in late 2015, owner/managers, Tim & Nikki Wedgwood have invested heavily in the hotel, and many will remember the excellent & innovative support they gave the village throughout Lockdown.

Most recently, this summer the hotel has added; The Pavilion.

The Pavilion is an addition to the hotel's highly regarded restaurant, 'The Cedar Tree', which will continue as normal. This new space has been designed to be used independently for celebrations, meetings & events.

The Cornwallis Suite remains popular and will continue to host many of the important monthly luncheon club meetings on weekdays. alongside social banqueting functions over the weekends.

The Pavilion is an impressive new large event & meeting space, and at: 18m x 9m it can be used as one large room for large groups & events up to 150, or divided into 3 smaller suites for functions for as few as 20 people.

The Pavilion also benefits from semi private outdoor areas, as both sides of the Pavilion has bi-folds doors which fully open onto terraces, making it a wonderful space on those hot lazy days.

It is clear that the hotel is very highly regarded by its customers, as South Lawn Hotel is currently rated as 'Excellent' on TripAdvisor and No.1 in the New Forest. To take the accolades further, in the Summer 2023 TripAdvisor recognised the hotel as the 'No1 Best Value' of 2,955 places to stay in the UK.

Bookings are already filling up well for South Lawn's Christmas and New Year Packages.

The Pre-Christmas Lunches are always very popular with friendship groups and societies, as well as family groups. So, it is highly recommend to book early.

South Lawn is a busy hotel in an enviable location with an excellent reputation for both the hotel and its restaurant, The Cedar Tree. This charming country hotel is set in five acres of landscaped grounds, close to Milford on Sea village and the coast.
