The Coastal Bakery is now well established as the village's treasured bakery, offering delicious bread, cakes, bakes, takeaways and party food for us all to enjoy.
The bakery was opened by local resident Amanda Maidment, a very talented cake maker, in January 2021.
She even developed a special cream tea for people to celebrate the 75th anniversary of VE Day at home in May 2020.
Recognising the popularity of her baking, Amanda decided to open The Coastal Bakery.
The Coastal Bakery's excellent selection changes daily and tends to sell out, so it is worth visiting early. They also have Gluten Free and Vegan options.

Handmade Two or Three Tier Cakes: Carrot cake, victoria sponge, lemon drizzle, coffee & walnut, chocolate, Dorset apple cake. Boxes of 12 cupcakes. Also. Battenberg and madeira. You can also order bespoke celebration cakes.

Savouries: Sausage rolls, Cornish pasties, pies, cheese & onion slices, sandwiches, toasties.
Bread: Spelt sourdough, rosemary & garlic focaccia, farmhouse, granary, baguettes , soft white rolls, wholemeal rolls, vegan brioche buns.
Takeaways & Parties: Coffee, afternoon teas, lunch & party sandwiches, party cakes, filled rolls, picnic boxes, brunch boxes full of sweet & savoury goodies.
