Open Day at Milford Baptist Church

Milford Baptist Church are inviting everyone to an Open Day on Saturday 24th June from 10.30am to 2.30pm.

About Milford on Sea Baptist Church

Milford on Sea Baptist Church is an evangelical and very welcoming village church.

The original church building was one of the oldest Baptist churches in the New Forest region, having been founded in 1816 by Mr Evans, who in a period of five years saw over one hundred people join the congregation. He also oversaw the building of the current church in Barnes Lane. Under the subsequent leadership of Rev James Turquand, the original manse was added.

In 1964, by developing land surrounding the Church, the present manse and church hall were built, along with additional car parking. Later in the 1990's the organ was up-dated, and a new floor and baptistry installed. In the 2000's, multi-media and a new PA system were installed. In September 2010 a tea point area was added to the rear of the Church, enabling a time for refreshments and fellowship to take place at the end of the services.

The current minister, Reverend David Hellsten was inducted at Easter in 2011.

The Sunday service is at 10.30am and aims to cater for the needs of all ages (there are toys at the back of the church). Everybody is welcome to all services.

Previous sermons are also available on YouTube, and audio versions are available on their website under 'Recorded Sermons'.
