Hurst Castle are hosting lots of coronation fun, perfect for all your Kings, Queens, Princes & Princesses. Children can let their creativity run free when they make and decorate their own crown before choosing from one of the castle's royal outfits - or simply wear your own favourite from home.
Then it’s time to take your place on our throne for your family and friends to take a ‘Royal portrait’, so you can remember where you were for the coronation for years to come!
With a Royal trail and plenty to explore within the Tudor castle built by Henry VIII in 1544, which was also a prison for King Charles I in 1648, it’s the perfect day out for all the family to celebrate our new King.

Hurst Castle was built between 1541 and 1544 by Henry VIII as one of a chain of artillery defences protecting key ports and landing places around southern England from continental attack.
