The Village News goes Retro

Mark at The Village News is now stocking a range of retro sweets to transport us back to our childhoods.

Sherbert fountains, Dip dabs and black jacks..., if you are of a certain age you will remember these sweets and perhaps even recall school tuck shops! 

Mark also now stocks a range of Warmies. These warming cuddly soft toys contain dried French Lavender, sourced from growers in Provence. They are fully microwavable and designed to provide stress and anxiety relief as well as promote restful sleep.

For centuries lavender has been synonymous with tranquillity, relaxation, serenity, soothing and calming to provide wellbeing and wellness.

The Village News is a traditional village newsagents and also a Local Information Point for the New Forest National Park.
