The construction of 24 new rooms is well underway at South Lawn Hotel.
The ground floor construction is complete and the first floor is being built. It is hoped to have a roof, doors and windows by Christmas which will provide the builders, Tuakana with a good rum through to the spring to complete the interior and associated landscaping for an opening at the end of May.
William Reed a keen local photographer who grew up not far from South Lawn has been keeping a photographic record of progress, below are some of his pictures.
