Christmas Dining in Milford on Sea

02 October 2020

Simon is aiming for the Commonwealth Games

Milford on Sea resident Simon Heaps had his right leg amputated in May 2019, not allowing this to hold him back, he is now aiming to play in the Commonwealth Para Games in 2022 in Wheelchair Table Tennis when he will be 67.

Simon gets no  funding and everything is done by his own personal efforts in fundraising.

His latest activity is to do a 24 Hour Table Tennis Marathon with 7 other players on 24th/ 25th October from 6pm to 6pm. Playing through the night in his wheelchair for 24 hours.

Simon is looking for businesses or people to pledge/sponsor him for this event. This week he has been around the village and he is delighted to have been pledged just over £400.

If anyone might like to assist in his fundraising, make a donation, or even sponsor his sports clothing (from as little as £240 for 2 year deal ), please contact Simon at simon@simonheaps.com
