Following the recent Government announcement, the Village Charity Shop in Church Hill Milford on Sea will re-open on Monday 15th June. Things will be a little different from normal with a strict restriction on customer numbers and protective equipment in use.
In order to protect our staff, donated items will not be accepted at the shop for the time being. Instead, donated items can be brought to the garage located between the Community Centre and the main car park on MONDAYS ONLY between 11am and 12.30pm, and 1.30pm and 3.00pm, where a member of staff will be able to accept them. Please do not leave items outside the garage if it is unattended.
We are truly grateful for all the wonderful donations that people have given enabling us to support the Milford Community Centre in a major way. Please help us by only donating good quality, clean items.
As we have very limited sales space and also extremely limited storage space we are UNABLE TO ACCEPT the following items:
- mens suits
- curtains
- hard back books
- food and drink
- pillows
- duvets
- suitcases
- underwear
- furniture
- musical instruments
- DIY tools
- sports equipment
- winter clothes
- electricals
- stationery
- cuddly/soft toys
- baby clothes
- underwear
- nightwear
- cushions
- table linen
- bed linen
- garden tools
- fabric
Thank you for your continued support – it is much appreciated and provides vital funding to the activities of the Community Centre. The Community Centre itself remains closed for now, in line with Government guidance.
