Last Wednesday over 20 pairs of players competed for the annual Needles
Competition at Milford on Sea Bowls Club.

After a very long
day in beautiful weather, and a lot of close fought matches, the eventual winners
were Derek Newell & David Newman with this years runners up Sheila &
David Hall.
The Needles Trophy and the keepsakes of watercolour paintings, by
local artist John Bird, were presented by Martin Scott of Hayward Fox kind
sponsors of this competition.
