Choralia Milford presents The Crucifixion by John Stainer

Choralia Milford will be performing The Crucifixion by John Stainer in All Saints Church, Milford on Sea, at 2.30pm on Saturday 19th April 2025.

Following their popular February concert 'I got rythm' at All Saints Church, local chamber choir Choralia Milford is delighted to be invited to return there for a presentation of Stainer’s Crucifixion.

The Crucifixion is a well-known and moving musical meditation on the Sacred Passion of the Holy Redeemer, which is performed as an oratorio for a four-part vocal arrangement of soprano, alto, tenor, and bass voice (SATB) choir and organ composed by John Stainer in 1887.

The choir will be led by Musical Director Phil Daish-Handy, accompanied by Leigh Jerwood and players from Nova Foresta Philharmonic.

There will be a retiring collection for the church’s Bell Tower Fund.

Tickets: £10 (children free) on sale at The Bridge Box Office, from www.choraliamilford.org.uk, and on the door.
