In a recent interview, Shintaro revealed that his favourite place to eat in Hampshire is Verveine Fish Market Restaurant; commenting "I love the playfulness, the composition of ingredients, techniques, texture, colour and taste." - High praise from a fellow professional chef.
Verveine is also number 50 position in the top 100 restaurants in the prestigious Hardens Restaurant Guide for 2025. To put this into perspective, this ranking puts them higher than iconic dining rooms such as The Ritz, The Fat Duck and other Michelin Star restaurants. www.hardens.com/top-100-uk-restaurants
