It was fantastic to see more than 350 people attend the Milford on Sea Village Show, which took place on Saturday 6th July 2024 in All Saints' Church Hall.
Visitors were able to see all of the competition entries and winners, as well as displays for the fruit, vegetables and flower classes. There was also flower arranging exhibits, crafts for all ages, and art & photography.
People were also able watch bees at work, and buy the honey. A raffle was also held in aid of New Forest Basics Bank.
Michael Turner, bought along Iggy, his giant Iguana sculpture climbing a driftwood tree. As you might expect, visitors were more than impressed with his craftmanship. It is not surprising though, as Michael is an Internationally renowned stainless steel artist, as well as a Milford on Sea resident.
You can see more of his work here: www.michaelturnerstudios.co.uk.
This event marked 130 years since the first recorded Milford on Sea Village Show was held here in the village.
The organising committee would like to thank everyone who entered, visited, donated and sponsored this traditional village event.
The show will return in 2025 on 5th July... The team hope to see you there!
