The Royal British Legion's Poppy Appeal starts on October 26th until Remembrance Sunday, and Milford on Sea resident and local Poppy Appeal Organiser, Carol Barnett is looking for anyone who can lend a hand collecting donations for an hour or two.
You can do this at a time to suit yourself and for as long as you wish, the usual collecting time is 1 or 2 hours.

The Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal is to remember those who lost their lives on active service in all conflicts; from the beginning of the First World War right up to the present day. The poppy is for remembrance to all those who have served and their families.
