More Poppy Appeal Collectors Needed

The Annual Poppy Appeal starts at the end of next month, and the village organisers would be grateful if you can you spare a few hours to volunteer as a Poppy Appeal Collector?

The Royal British Legion (RBL) Remembrance period starts on the 27th October and the Milford on Sea RBL collections will commence from then.

House to house collections no longer take place, therefore all collections are made in the village centre. It is hope people will give generously to the Poppy Appeal volunteers.

To find out more, or to volunteer to help out at the time, please contact:

The Royal British Legion say the Poppy Appeal is to remember those who lost their lives on active service in all conflicts; from the beginning of the First World War right up to the present day. We also remember all those who have served and their families.
