This Sunday 7th June the Milford Conservation Volunteers team will be working alongside the New Forest Area Conservation Volunteers at the Bird Hide, next to Sturt Pond, Milford on Sea. There is vegetation to prune back and repainting of the hide, plus a litter pick around The Marine, salt marsh and paddock.
There is plenty to do for all abilities, and newcomers are always welcomed.

Paintbrushes for wood preserving would be useful, plus gloves, hedging tools, loppers etc. Don't forget the water if it is a warm day.
Meet time: 10am at Bird Hide.
On Friday 12th June the MCV team will be setting up Bill Smith's Tern Raft at Sturt Pond. A spare hand or two would be useful, and support for the occasion would be good. Pete Durnell is sending a helper and a boat to help tow the raft into position. If you would like to go along, please contact MCV as below.
