A friendly invasion is on its way to Milford on Sea, as Tudor and Stuart History Comes Alive at Hurst Castle.
Pop along between 10.30am to 5.30pm on Saturday 1st & Sunday 2nd June 2013, to see the Tudor and Stuart re-enactors at Henry VIII's original castle, with authentic costumes, demonstrations of crafts and skills (including net-making, a barber surgeon and lace making) and a special focus on dining, food and etiquette.

There will also be lots of opportunities to interact with period soldiers and learn about their weapons or the games they used to pass the time, and even serve as a juror on a court leet.
We have heard that there will be things to see and do all day, with special events timetabled throughout, so plently to interest the whole family.
