As a very regular customer of the Butchers Shop we can only recommend it to everybody who looks at the posts or uses the village, but I suspect that any villager who has any sense already uses this shop to the full. We are very fortunate to have such a quality butchers shop available to us, within about 5 minutes walk, and long may they rein. Forget shops outside the village, this is the only place of its kind we would recommend locally. Everyone is extremely helpful even with old codgers like me who seem to have lapses of memory too often. Tonight, pork chops al a mode.......or grilled as we less experienced chefs call it. (Their apple sauce is well recommended too). A nice red or white to go with it as is your choice. Tomorrow morning, all being well, their lovely sausages, plus bacon and egg. Terry and Jean Langford.
