The Advertiser & Times have published an article written by Roz Water, with good news about the playing fields close to Milford on Sea Primary School.
As part of the development of The Swifts housing estate on Lymington Road near the school in 2021, developers Pennyfarthing Homes provided the playing fields for the village.
However, there has been an ongoing dispute about the 2.2 hectare of fields and they have never been used as they were considered not being not fit for purpose, due to it being littered with rocks, metal and broken glass.
The Milford on Sea Parish Council refused to take responsibility for the site until this had been resolved.
The good news is that this now appears to be being satisfactorily resolved.
