Ellie Mans (just 14) from Milford on Sea is the 2019 South West U18 Girls Nett Champion. She shot +1 (74) and +3 (76) at Filton Golf Club and was nett -6 for the tournament.

She won U18 Nett Salver for Best Nett & the Fraser Evans Bowl for Best Nett Overall. She also won the Best Team Scratch Trophy with Dorset pal Chloe Haesler & Harriet Taversham.
The South West Championships attracts the top 60 Lady & Junior players from Cornwall, Somerset, Wiltshire, Devon, Gloucestershire & Dorset. The format is 36-hole strokeplay competition for the championship with the overall winner returning the lowest gross score over 36 holes.
Ellie’s Handicap has been cut to 4 for the very first time.
She has enjoyed a terrific 13th year on the golf course as she is the Dorset Girls Nett Champion, Girls Nett & Gross Champion at Ferndown and Brokenhurst Manor. The Champion of Champions at Sturminster Marshall & won the Autumn & Clive Cargill Trophy at Brokenhurst Manor GC.
She came 2nd in her first England Golf U16 Open Amateur Strokeplay Championship stableford competition at Hawkstone Park GC in April & was the youngest member of the Winning Dorset Intercounty Championship Team 2019 & member of the U18 Dorset Girls 1st Team
She is a member at Brokenhurst Manor Golf Club & Barton on Sea Golf Club, which is home to her coach is Pete Rodgers.
