Last Lynx Flies Over Milford

A local resident has heard from their son, a retired Lynx pilot, that the last Lynx helicopter will pass over Milford on Sea seafront at 1pm this Friday (17th March 2017)

Worth seeing a part of British military history if you can.

The Lynx is a multi-purpose military helicopter manufacturer by Westland Helicopters. The first flight was on 21st March 1971 and it was introduced to service in 1978 and used by the British Army, Royal Navy, French Navy and German Navy.

Addendum

The fleet of Lynx Late arrived (1324hrs) not along the coast, but just over the roof tops in the north of the village.
